Winter

Winter has officially arrived today (Dec 21). Weather forecast predicts sunny day for the next 10 days. Therefore, hope for white Christmas goes down the drain again. Winter without fluffy white snow seems out of place. Although I don’t like bitterly cold weather, I always enjoy snowing day in DC metro area. Washingtonians are well known as weather wimp, an inch of snow could almost shut down the public school in the area and most government offices. 3 inches of snow can be classified as “blizzard”, whereas the Midwesterner or Northeasterner calls it “dusting.” It is so hard to find a day without traffic, a snowing day, however, clear the traffic up. I am looking forward for this winter because many predict larger snowfall and colder weather. Oh, by the time the weather turns cold, my wife and I should be sipping Pina Colada on a beach in Malaysia.
